Embarking on a Transformational Journey:

A Letter from Daniela Jentsch

Dear Beloved Community,

I’m Daniela Jentsch, but you can call me Dans. I feel a deep sense of gratitude that you’ve joined me on this journey to create a supportive and nurturing community, where we explore self-improvement, empowerment, and the path to our best lives. 

Let’s pause for a moment and acknowledge our individual courage. The fact that you’re here, seeking self-improvement and personal growth in a world full of distractions, speaks volumes about your bravery. Your very presence is an inspiration, and I am genuinely grateful for your company.

Why am I here? It’s a question I’ve asked myself many times, and I’d like to share two powerful reasons with you.

First and foremost, Holistic Dans and Mindful Moves was born out of my own seven-year self-healing journey. During this time, I often felt lonely, seeking solace in self-help podcasts, literature, and various resources. These sources played a crucial role in my personal transformation, and it’s my heartfelt wish that our journey together can provide the same solace and support to others on their own paths.

Secondly, the importance of community cannot be overstated. This past year, I’ve experienced the incredible strength that comes from being part of a like-minded group of individuals. Having people who share your goals and values, whether in a physical or virtual space, can be life-changing. The connections I’ve formed have led me to this moment, and I’m thrilled to create a vibrant community with you.




As I sit here, writing this message, I want to be honest with you. I feel vulnerable. You might think that creating this platform means I should be super confident, but we all have fears, doubts and some level of imposter syndrome. It takes courage to expose our authentic selves and share our journey with the world. Mindful Moves is about embracing vulnerability and encouraging courageous conversations. You being here is  an integral part in making this happen.

Now, let’s delve into what lies ahead. My personal journey has involved immersing myself in self-help books, podcasts, science reviewed literature, YouTube channels, and various forms of learning and research.  It was only in recent years that I realised the missing piece – the key to healing is being able to  regulate our nervous system. True transformation begins when we feel safe in our own bodies. Instead of hastily rushing through life, we’ll begin with finding that inner sense of safety and calm within ourselves.

We’ll also explore the workings of the brain and how it influences our lives. Understanding the brain’s functioning can help us understand that it’s not about blame; it’s about patterns. The brain behaves as it should, but we can change our belief systems, patterns and behaviour with the right support.

I’m excited to embark on this journey with you. Over the next months, I will  introduce a new tool every month to help you regulate your nervous system. These tools will be concise, easy to integrate into your life, and we’ll make sure they don’t overwhelm you. The goal is to focus on one tool each month, as we support each other through the process. As we move forward, we’ll touch on various intertwining topics and how they impact our lives. 

I encourage you to actively participate in this journey and to grow with our community. Let’s make this more than just a passing inspiration. Let’s take action and transform together.

In conclusion, I want to thank you for being a part of this incredible journey. As we move forward, remember that the light you seek outside of yourself is waiting to be acknowledged within. With that, I express my gratitude once more, and I can’t wait to share more with you next week. Together, we’ll build a community, uncover our potential, and set out on a journey of self-discovery.
